Our Approach to Loose Leaf Tea

At WayCha, loose leaf tea is about more than just flavour; it’s about understanding where tea comes from and the people who produce it. Each year we visit tea farms in Taiwan to see the tea growing regions firsthand, learn about traditional processing methods, and carefully select teas that reflect the character of their origin.

By spending time in the tea gardens and speaking directly with producers, we’re able to choose teas that show the craftsmanship and care behind every harvest. From traditional Taiwanese oolong teas to classic green and black varieties made from the Camellia sinensis plant, our goal is to bring back teas that offer an authentic and enjoyable tea experience.
